In Vitro Maturation - IVM

Women who have experienced adverse reactions to fertility drugs and women with polycystic ovaries would benefit from in vitro maturation. This process removes immature eggs from the ovaries, then in the laboratory with special media they are matured followed by ICSI (intracystoplasmic sperm injection) to fertilize the eggs. There are no drugs administered during this treatment, and the actual treatment costs are lower than conventional IVF treatments; therefore, a considerable savings overall.
